Celeste’s UK number one debut album in 2021 was the first debut album by a British female artist to top the chart in over five years at the time, and is certified Silver. That year she received a Mercury Prize nomination, several nominations at the BRITs, and was also nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe for co-writing ‘Hear My Voice’ for the film The Trial of the Chicago 7. She won Songwriter of the Year (alongside Jamie Hartman) at the 2021 Ivor Novello awards.
