LP2âs second side continues the run of 1986 Dance gold opening with the yearâs biggest hit, the #1 âDonât Leave Me This Wayâ from The Communards with Sarah Jane Morris, Pop-Dance hits from Bronski Beat and Five Star, before finishing with the first of the 1989 selections - the classic Soul of âJoy And Painâ from Maze & Frankie Beverly. Which leaves 8 classic cuts of 1989 dancefloor magic for our final LPâŠ
Bobby Brownâs âMy Prerogativeâ and âBuffalo Stanceâ from Neneh Cherry start the run that features The Beatmasters, Coldcut feat. Lisa Stansfield, Inner City, Fine Young Cannibals, and Paula Abdulâs trans-atlantic smash âStraight Upâ, before we close with the timeless âKeep On Movinââ from Soul II Soul featuring the sublime vocals of Caron Wheeler.
