Oasis October 1996 Limited Edition Print by Jill Furmanovsky
A limited-edition print of Oasis photographed by Jill Furmanovsky taken at Abbey Road Studios in October 1996. This image was taken during the recording of Oasisâs album Be Here Now.
To celebrate Oasisâ return to the stage this Summer, weâre partnering with Jill and Rockarchive to present these rare photographsânever before sold in this formatâwhich offer an intimate glimpse of the band at two pivotal moments in their career.
Jill recalls, âThe band had cancelled their American tour due to a major Noel/Liam row and the papers were saying that theyâd split up. But they hadnât, so we needed some shots to show that they were not only still together, but working on new material. We were going to do the shoot outside the studios by the wall of graffiti but there are always crowds of tourists there, so we did quick shoot in Studio Two where they were about to record anyway."
This giclée print is hand-numbered, embossed and signed by Jill Furmanovsky. It is produced using archival paper and inks and comes with a mount & certificate of authenticity.
