Originally released in 1984 on the Sound Process label, Wave Notation 3 followed Ashikawaâs own Still Way (1982) and Hiroshi Yoshimura's Music For Nine Postcards (1982).
The highly sought-after album, sourced from the original master tape, includes English and Japanese liner notes by the artist, was supervised by Japanese ambient legend Yoshio Ojima.
