LP1 kicks off with 50 Centâs Rap Classic and 2003âs biggest single in the U.S. âIn Da Clubâ, followed by pop gold from Sugababes, Will Young and Maroon 5, plus R&B/Pop crossover smashes from Justin Timberlake and Outkast. The mid-noughties saw first #1s from James Blunt, Stereophonics, Scissor Sisters, and Gnarls Barkley, whose #1 âCrazyâ in 2006 became not only that yearâs best seller, but also the first single to reach #1 on download only sales.
